My husband is one of those guys who you have to force to get help when they need it. He and a friend created an invention last year and they profited handsomely, so I told him he needs to get an estate planning attorney. Check out estate planning attorney.
We have eight children and the last thing he needs is to have them fighting and going through changes when it comes to settling his estate in the event something happens to him. He is already in his mid-60's, so it is not like he will be around for countless years.
He believes that trying to get help signals that the end is near, but I call it smart planning and he needs to get on the ball sooner rather than later.
I have talked to a few of my friends and asked if they had any recommendations, but I came up empty. The next thing I plan to do is a bit of Internet research. I am going to compile a list of great options and force my husband to choose one. I know I will have to be very persistent, but this is something that I think is absolutely necessary.
